Separate gold coins from the green cash display
Watch the gold coin counter and the green dollar balance as different displays. When a reward appears, notice which balance changed before deciding what you can buy. Calling every reward “coins” makes it easy to compare a shop or upgrade price with the wrong balance.
Check which currency you earned, read the purchase icon, then verify what changed. You do not need an assumed exchange rate to make that check.
Balance note, October 3, 2026: the reward amounts below are September 2026 examples. Use the notifications and menus in your current game for actual amounts and purchase currencies.
Read the reward event, not just the number
A knockout can produce more than one visible reward change, while jail income appears separately. Read those labels so you know which event paid out.
| Historical display example | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Gold +3 | The gold display received a reward |
| Knockout +$10 | A green cash reward accompanied a knockout |
| Jail income +$4 or +$5 | Jail-income notifications can show different amounts |
| Gold price on an ability card | Compare it with the gold balance, not green cash |
These are examples, not a promised payout every time. Do not turn one notification into a coins-per-minute farming claim or a fixed conversion between gold and cash.
Look at the label and the balance together. If several events happen close to each other, wait until you can identify the individual reward before attributing the entire change to one action.
Keep earnings connected to useful play
A knockout still needs collection and delivery. Focusing on the reward popup while leaving the body behind does not complete your team’s capture.
Likewise, holding prisoners requires repairs and defense. If jailed opponents escape while everybody chases another reward event, your team has to fight and transport them again.
Improve the part of the capture chain you are missing: finish a supported fight, collect promptly, escort the carrier or monitor the jail. Repeat those jobs instead of planning around a guaranteed farming yield.
Do not abandon a reachable rescue solely because another opponent is available to chase. Freed teammates can restore the support needed for the team’s next complete capture.
Match the purchase to the actual currency
Open the offer and read the current price beside its icon. Check which balance it uses and what the purchase grants. Ability cards, team upgrade pads and other offers need their own menu checks.
Do not assume a public Robux product listing explains a gold-coin purchase in the lobby. Also do not assume green cash can automatically be exchanged for gold because both appear on the same screen.
After purchasing, verify the item, selection or stat the offer described. A changed balance confirms spending; it does not by itself confirm that the intended equipment is now selected.
Spend to solve a clear problem
Before buying, name the task you want to improve. Are you choosing a specific ability effect, comparing an upgrade preview, or reading a crate offer? Knowing what you want to improve helps you compare the right menu instead of chasing a rarity label.
Check any current duration or persistence wording before relying on a balance or upgrade in a later session. Seeing a balance during one round does not tell you whether it is stored permanently.
Read team upgrades for stat choices or bat crates for reading a roll offer.
FAQ
Are gold coins and green cash the same currency?
Treat the two displays separately. Read reward labels and purchase icons instead of assuming a shared balance or conversion.
Does every knockout give the example amounts?
Use the current reward notifications. The listed amounts are historical examples, not guaranteed payouts or a farming rate.
How do I know which balance a purchase uses?
Read the current price and currency icon on the offer. Compare that icon with the matching balance before paying.
Do balances or upgrades persist between sessions?
Read the live menu’s applicable wording. Do not infer persistence from a single balance display or upgrade preview.
